In the past six months 3 of pakistan’s world renowned top Artists,painter,sculpter and calligraphist….Guljee,Mansoor rahi and Iqbal mehdi died. Iam not sure when and how this vacuum created by their untimely departure will be filled . All 3 of them were masters in their fields and the good thing about them was that they experimented a lot Arts in Pakistan evolved to a new height and dimension during a very complicated time.
Life of an artist is never an easy one anywhere in the world in any era but here in pakistan it is even harder. Inspired by the beauty if your work resembles the neighbor’s wife or colonel sab ’s daughter then you can imagine the consequence yourself.
