Much ado about nothing..
July 5, 2009 by yahudi4The wimbledon 2009 is over now….with roger federer and serena williams taking the main trophies….while they would be hoping and thinking to be back once again and retain their titles next year also win the grand slam by winning as many trophies and titles throughout the coming year….I move on to the next sporting event….which is not even tennis….ya that’s me….
It was a really great tennis match tonight…..one of the best wimbledon finals I have ever seen…Unlike the ladies singles final between venus and serena which last for an hour and ended in straight sets….the Mens final between andy Roddick and Roger Federer….lasted for four hours…with five sets….and the final set was a real cliff hanger…really nerve recking experience not only for the players and the referee’s….I remained on the edge all evening in front of my television screen…..thanks to the power company who shut down for load shedding gave almost an hour off to relax and have dinner in between….no I did not have those cones and scone muffins and tarts…or the champagnes they must have had there in wimbledon during or after the long very long match….I had takeaway Barbeque.kebabs and kat’a'kat fried brain with bread…icecream and pepsi
